I have lived in the Southern California are for 25yrs. I have spent the last 20 years in the Petro Chemical Industry. I am a Hazmat Emergency Response Fire fighter handling hydrocarbon/chemical releases and fires in the southbay area refinery’s. My background is High Pressure Hydrocracker Process and Fractionation Distillation Operations. Most of my program involves training for the real thing. Working a rotating shift with overtime does not leave much time for me to relax let alone get my workout in. I don’t like running or jogging and biking is just plain boring. I came across the Trikke by accident when a friend was using it to warm up for his workouts. I began joining him with his routine and found that I really enjoyed the ride. I'm able to keep trim at the waist line and get a full aerobic / Pilates type of strength training. I now have several Trikkes and really enjoy the T12 Roadster. I'm 6'3" at 215 and plan on staying that way. A great way to incorporate the torso, legs, and upper body in one fluid motion without impact to my joints. The Trikke is my Training buddy and my pleasure cruise. I enjoy outdoor sports. Along with my 5yr old son, I ride dirt bikes, wrench on old muscle cars, surf, sail, race, You name it, I wanna try it. Trying to get a workout in with my schedule is difficult. The Trikke sure does help when you can’t get any exercise in, not to mention that it truely is a blast to ride. My son and I enjoy tandem riding on the HPV or the EPV. Ask anyone who has one, It Rocks. I have been trikking for the better part of 3 years. I fell into trikking like most of us, by curiosity. The feeling was so natural it was hard to believe that more folks weren’t out riding these. We decided that we would spread the word. Teaching folks to ride is fun. Watching the groove come on when some one is learning is gratifying. I have yet to meet anyone who cannot do this. Drop me a line.
My Trikke of choice is the T8 Air but I also like to ride the T78 Air and am now very much enjoying the electric Trikke (aka Tribred). What a blast it is to cruise around on! Learning to ride Trikke was a real challenge for me but the reward has been awesome! I'm not sure what it is, but there is definitely something about the Trikke that draws you in and keeps you wanting to get back on. Did I mention that it is a lot of fun? And the bonus is that you'll get a workout and you won't even mind! I am very excited about the future of SouthBay Trikke and what is in store for us. We love to meet new people and make friends. You are always welcome to visit or bring your Trikke by and hang out with us, so check our calender to see what we're up too!
I hope to see you soon! :) Irene

I have this overwhelming sensation to share my love for my Human Powered Carving Vehicle better known as a Trikke, and yes I have a name for it, “The Green Machine”.
I have been carving up the neighborhood for a little over two years now.A great friend of mine introduced me to carving and I just had to get my whole family involved. Happy to say we are now all blissfully addicted and known as SouthBay Trikke. oh! and did I mention that we are all certified trainers from the Trikke Training Academy.
Ok, back to me :) Why Shorty you ask? Because I am Six foot Six “above sea level” and Shorty has always been what everyone calls me.
I am happily married to a wonderful wife of 22 years and have 2 awesomely talented boys, who bye the way, are unbeatable on the Trikke.
When I am not working or carving I might be taking pictures, which is another passion I am working on incorporating more into my life. (Do you mind if I take a picture of you on your Trikke?)
What I like most about the Trikke is there is virtually no impact, and because my adolescent years were pretty active, several broken bones and a couple knee surgeries later, The Trikke is perfect for me. I need to keep all my joints and muscles groups moving, and what better way is there to stay healthy then to “Get Up, Get Out & Get your Groove On”.

Thanks for taking the time to check me out.
Now let me show you how Trikke is going to
change your Life.

Hope to see you soon.
