History
• 1990 – Inventor Gildo Beleski designs early prototypes and begins refining design
• 2000 - Patents filed around core 3CV Technology (Now issued)
• 2002 - Gildo recruits John Simpson. Organic growth begins. Establish manufacturing in China.
• 2002 – Time Magazine Cover –One of the Best Inventions
• 2003 – 2007 – Expand body- powered vehicle line for all ages
• 2006 – Snow Skki introduced
• 2009 - Soft Launch Electric Tribred

• Received a bachelor degree in Physics Universidade Federal do Parana UFPR (1984-1987)
• Testing, Certification and Research in industrial mechanics field at TECPAR, a government Tech Institute (1983-1986).
• R&D and manufacturing of IC engines, automotive power trains, frame and suspension systems at Itala Motors (1985-1989)
• Started TRIKKE concept and development (1989-1991)
• Instructor of Engine Rebuilding for COFAP, the major auto parts OEM supplier for the Brazilian auto industry (1991-1993)
• Certified Automotive Technician for BMW, Honda and Land Rover (1993-1994)
• Certified ASE automotive technician (1997)
• Owned an auto shop and Land Rover dealership (1995-2000)
• Certified CAD designer (1998-1999)
• Researched patent database and did some market research for Trikke. Filled the first patent on Trikke 3CV technology. (1999)
• Founded Trikke Tech, Inc. in the USA and started promoting Trikke Body-powered vehicles. Filed the second patent. (2000+)
• Simpson has been CEO of Trikke Tech since June 2002.
• Prior to joining Trikke Tech, Simpson helped develop Razor USA’s core markets to popularize its Scooter and develop distribution channels for the overwhelmingly successful product. (2000 to 2001)
• He also owned and operated Razor USA’s sole e-tail Website. (2000 to 2001) (www.razorama.com)
• Founded OTB Distributing, with annual revenues of $6.5 million in sales. OTB was involved in the development and marketing of a number of licensed consumer niche products, and was the nation’s leading importer/exporter and marketer of Pogs, developing the successful "Wackers!®" brand. (1993-2000)
• Simpson majored in English at UC Berkeley (1985)
